New Ad from Microsoft "Lauren"
Microsoft Launches their new Ad "Lauren" and reminds everyone with a little smirk, that you have to be cool to own a Mac. Aligning with their 'I'm a PC' campaign, this commercial seems to target students and focuses on value for money, which all brands are doing lately.
The ad takes us shopping with Lauren for a computer that gives her ample screen size/hard drive/memory for $1,000 or less. At the Apple Store, however, she would have to double her budget to get what she wants.
What makes this ad so effective is that it's a simple concept, relevant and above all memorable. Ten minutes after watching it, you'll remember that you cannot get a good Mac for under $1000, and that a PC is way cheaper with better features. Nice work Microsoft! (Agency:Crispin Porter+Bogusky)
